Clean water belongs to everyone
We believe that clean water belongs to everyone. Both clean domestic and drinking water are critical for people, and we have strived to develop a product that further simplifies water quality analysis. Heavy metals, such as arsenic, and other toxins ending up in drinking water from the soil are harmful to humans. However, without a viable measurement method, these substances may go undetected and enter the human body either through drinking water or other stages of the food chain, such as irrigation water from vegetables or feed fed to agricultural animals.
In order to build the right kind of purification methods, challenges with the purity of water must be highlighted even more visibly. This can be achieved, among other things, with the help of the quick measurement method we have developed, which is simple, safe and very fast for the end user. Standard measurement methods give results in 60 minutes, but with our test you can get results in as little as a few minutes!
Simple measurement method
Although existing low-cost rapid measurement methods may be functional, Nano Halen’s product is completely unique. Our measurement method is based on measuring heavy metals and toxins on test paper, which is not offered by others. All you need is a test strip and the application we have developed downloaded to your phone.
Usage
The user experience in our tests is very pleasant, as the test is simple.
The application we have developed stores the data so that it can be seen by the user later. The data can also be shared with a cloud service that displays the time and map data of the measurement result in question.
- Dip the test strip in the water you want to assess
- Wait for the color change (the reaction to be measured) to occur
- Open our app and use it to take a picture of the strip of paper where the color change has occurred
- Our app converts colour changes into numerical values that can be used to estimate the purity of drinking water or drinking water
Our customers
Our products have been developed primarily to serve the end user, i.e. households, where it is particularly important to be able to measure water quality safely, simply and affordably.
However, we do not sell the product directly to consumers, but companies and organisations that sell and distribute the product for either professional or consumer use. Most of our customers are located outside Finland, such as North and South America, Asia and Australia, where arsenic is a problem in the soil and thus also in drinking water.
